Uralmashplant signed a contract for modernization of 5000 kN stretcher for Kamensk-Uralsky metallurgical plant (KUMZ). The contract provides for modernization project development, supply of equipment (about 70 tons) and commissioning supervision. The stretcher is to be commissioned in April 2011.

NMDC (National Minerals Development Corporation, India) awarded a contract for supply of two fine crushers KMD-2200Gr2-D to Uralmashplant.

Uralmashplant has performed testing of two 125-t vertical traverses designed for Kudankulam Nuclear power plant (India). This covered carrying capacity testing of traverse with 157-t load that exceeds nominal load capacity by 25%. In addition, the testing has proved operability of all units and traverse conformance to technical documentation requirements.

On July, the 15 within the framework of the Ural international exhibition and “INNOPROM” industry and innovations forum Uralmashplant and SMS Siemag (Germany) have signed a contract. As a part of the contract, SMS Siemag undertakes to deliver equipment designed for modern arc steel-melting furnace, ДСП-35. The contract amount is 700 mln. rubles.

On July the 15 Uralmashplant, Eriell Group and Syrian European Community for Heavy Industries signed a number of contracts and agreements concerning delivery of Uralmashplant drilling rigs. Syrian European Community for Heavy Industries maintains the deliveries of oil and gas equipment to Syrian Oil Company and similar to Eriell Group acts as a customer interested in the deliveries of packaged drilling rigs. The contracts and agreements were signed by Mr. O. Danchenko, MK Uralmash Director General, Mr. B. Fasylov, Eriell Group Director General and Mr. V.Elias, Director of Syrian European Community for Heavy Industries.

Uralmash Engineering has negotiated a contract for the delivery of ring-rolling mill. The mill is designed for Mishra Dhatu Nigam Limited (MIDHANI) - Indian metallurgical company, which produces special metals and alloys. Uralmashplant shall produce and deliver mill standard equipment with electrics and automatic control system by August 2011, and put it into operation in March 2012.

The gear ring is manufactured for 5-meter revolving cement furnace at Kavkazcement company (Cherkessk), which constitutes a part of Eurocement group at North Caucasus. The gear ring is 7960 mm in diameter and 950 mm in height; weight of the finished product is 59,6 tons. This is the second Uralmashplant gear ring manufactured recently (the previous one was produced by the plant for Volskcement JSC last year).

Stroylensky Ore-dressing and Processing Enterprise has finished the jaw-crusher erection works. At present ЩДП 15x21У jaw crusher of Uralmashplant design and production shall pass performance testing to be held at Stroylensky enterprise. The contract for delivery of the jaw crusher was negotiated in January 2008. The total weight of the equipment is 309 t.
